This is OriginStamp

During his research on plagiarism detection (HyPlag), Prof. Dr. Gipp challenged the status quo on how to reliably protect ideas. Inspired by the Bitcoin whitepaper, he turned to blockchain to forge trust in data and its origin. The first concepts for tamper-proof timestamps were born, but they were still raw.

The first production-level anchoring of hashes on public blockchains marked our breakthrough and launched OriginStamp as a tech pioneer.

Our founding team refined the process using Merkle Trees, OP_RETURN, and fee estimations to support multiple blockchains. With the backing of Human Bios International AG, the technology was finally battle-tested for the real world.

With the establishment of OriginStamp AG in Kreuzlingen, the research project evolved into a commercial force, and timestamping was unleashed as a professional-grade application.

In 2022, we hit a major milestone with the launch of our archive: "swiDOC". For the first time, Swiss companies could legally archive invoices and contracts using a simple, powerful web application.

OriginVault marked another milestone in digital archiving. Our core technology is now unleashed as a white-label-ready B2B application. New innovations, like our chatbot, are integrated across all archive solutions. With a modernized UI and an abstracted software architecture, OriginStamp now empowers other service providers and SaaS companies with professional business applications. Strategic partnerships (including CENT Systems) and new use cases cement our evolution from pure timestamping to an integrated knowledge and evidence platform.

OriginStamp expanded its horizons by adding strategic AI-powered analysis of sensitive corporate data to its product portfolio. In parallel, we invested heavily in our existing products, focusing on boosting scalability, sharpening the precision of our AI models, and delivering a superior user experience. As a direct result, we rolled out new features, including the Multi-File Chat.
